Dr. Swaminathan Sambandam at Kauvery Hospital is a highly skilled Senior Consultant and Lead in Multi-Organ Transplantation, specializing in liver, kidney, pancreas, and small intestine transplants. With over 25 years of experience, he has performed more than 1200 liver transplants and over 1800 kidney transplants, including both cadaveric and living donor transplants. He also leads one of the first teams in Tamil Nadu to perform robotic kidney transplants, particularly for obese patients, with over 20 successful cases. His expertise extends to Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery.
