 Under his leadership, the institute achieved a rare distinction—becoming the only center in Nanded and the Marathwada region accredited by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) for a Fellowship in Spine Surgery, reflecting a commitment to excellence in both patient care and academic training.

Carrying this legacy forward is his son, Dr. Shriniwas Chavan, a Gold Medalist in Orthopedics, with over 4+ years of experience in advanced orthopedic care.
