Mechanical Thrombectomy

Mechanical thrombectomy is a minimally invasive procedure used to remove a blood clot (thrombus) from a blocked artery, typically in the brain, during an acute ischemic stroke. It is performed to quickly restore blood flow to brain tissue and minimize damage.
